September and October

Wow! The last two months have absolutely FLOWN by! Jonas will be three months old on October 30th!! He has been a VERY busy little man!

September started out with Hurricane Gustav! he blew through town and took the electricity with him. We stayed at Maw Maw's house for a day or two and then went to Grammy and Grandpa's for the rest of the week to soak up some air conditioning while we waited for power at our house!

On September 28th, Jonas was baptized at St. Theresa. His Nanny is his Aunt Jenny and his Parrain is his Uncle Jake. His friend, Noah Deshautelles was also baptized that day. Amazingly, NONE of the four babies they were baptized with cried during mass! September 29th, Mom went back to work! It was a big adjustment for the three of us! We're still trying to figure out how to juggle working, school, keeping the house somewhat clean, family time and sleep!

On September 30th, Jonas went to see Dr. Wood and got his first round of shots! He was extremely happy on his way TO the doctor, but after his shots, he was NOT happy!! Mom had never heard him yell like that before! He calmed down pretty quickly though and was just sad and sleepy the rest of the day. We also celebrated Mom's 26th birthday that day!

October has been a busy month for us as well! Jonas had first very first sleepover! He went to stay with Grammy and Grandpa while Mom and Dad went to New Orleans to celebrate Mom's birthday! Jonas also went to the Angola Prison Rodeo and of course he dress up for the occasion! Mom bought him a tiny pair of John Deere cowboy boots and a plaid shirt! YEEHAW! (Pictures to follow) Now Jonas is getting ready for Halloween! He has decided to be a crawfish! TOO CUTE! He has invited all of his family and friends to come over to the house to join in on his first Trick or Treat!

Jonas also went to Live After 5 in downtown Baton Rouge with Mom, Dad, Nana, Aunt Kellie and Kayden where he met Police Chief Jeff LeDuff! Jonas probably doesn't remember, as he slept through the entire evening!
